What we collect
The site has no accounts and no forms that send data to us. When you look up a ZIP code, your browser downloads a list of ZIP areas and finds the nearest city itself; the ZIP you type is not sent to our server. “Use my location” asks your browser for your position and uses it the same way, only on your device.
Your grass-type choice on city pages is saved in your browser's local storage so the page remembers it. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) for security and to fix problems, and deletes them after 30 days.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Google explains more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal profiles, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you have a question about your data, including requests under US state privacy laws, email [email protected].
